BREAKFAST AT BELLINY BCN
for Brunch Lovers

What would you visit in Barcelona if you only had a couple of days for it? Without doubt, I would start with a delicious breakfast at Belliny, the Bruch Bar located at 555ApartmentsBCN building. Our guests have special discounts on it. With your batteries at full, you’d start your walk towards Plaza Universidad.

And go towards the heart of the city and the centre, Plaza Cataluña.
Without hesitation the meeting point of the locals and also the visitors and where we can see majestic and historic buildings.
From Plaza Cataluña we access the Gothic Quarter and the Cathedral through Portal de l’Àngel which is one of the most commercial and busiest streets in Barcelona. Take advantage to do shopping!

THE GOTHIC SQUARE OF BARCELONA

We are in the Pla de la Seu which means that we are in front of the Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona whose facade was finished in the 19th century although its construction was carried out between the 13th and 15th centuries. We can visit the Cathedral and the cloister and contemplate its greatness. If we visit Barcelona for Corpus Christi we can see “l’ou com balla” dance in the cloister, a tradition rooted in the city and especially at that date.

We continue the walk along the Carrer del Bisbe that is located on the side of the Cathedral to go to the Plaza Sant Jaume where the Town Hall and the Generalitat have their headquarters and from there we will go to the Born District.

WE CONTINUE WITH THE WALK THROUGH BARCELONA

The Barrio del Born or Barrio de los Pescadores has become the fashionable place of Barcelona as well as a cosmopolitan and international space. In its heart is the beautiful and magnificent Church of Santa María del Mar built between 1329 and 1383.
We recommend you enjoy the place, its restaurants, bars and the atmosphere you breathe.

Once you have visited the Basilica of Santa María, you can make a stop at the Picasso Museum, which is very close, on Carrer Montcada.

We continue with our private visit and now we go to Barceloneta to eat a good paella or fideuá and contemplate the sea. There are several roads that lead there from the Gothic Quarter. You can use Vía Laietana that will take you to the nautical port or you can also do it from the Parc de la Ciutadella. If you choose this route, do not forget to enter the Estación de Francia, the old train station that connected Barcelona with France to contemplate its beautiful building.

Now we return to 555ApartmentsBCN to rest and we do it from the Columbus Monument, the Drassanes and taking a walk through Las Ramblas.

During the tour we can feel the atmosphere of one of the most important streets of Barcelona, the typical restaurants and bars in each side of Las Ramblas, the adjacent streets and also contemplate the historical buildings.

Once traveled, we return to the starting point, Plaza Cataluña or Plaza Universidad. You decide!
